January 14th, 2007
  • Updated for compatibility with WoW Patch 2.0.3 and the Burning Crusade release.
  • AdSpace now updates its database of vendor recipe locations whenever you encounter vendors selling tradeskill recipes. When AdSpace encounters a vendor-sold recipe it hasn’t seen before (or an existing recipe on a new vendor), we’ll remember it and show the vendor’s name and location should you see a tooltip for that recipe again later. (AdSpace will also make a note in your chat window encouraging you to report the new data so we can include it in future versions.)
  • Added vendor recipe info for most of the new Burning Crusade content: should cover all new vendors in Outland, the Draenei and Blood Elf starter zones, the Caverns of Time and Karazhan as of Closed Beta build 6299.
  • Simplified code for adding text to item tooltips thanks to new API in WoW 2.0.3 — this should fix issues with the same info being added to a tooltip multiple times or sometimes being missing, as well as allow us to work with more third-party addons that show item tooltips.

  • Updated for compatibility with WoW Patch 2.0.3 and the Burning Crusade release.
  • Refined disenchant tables a bit for high-level items: blue items from ZG and AQ20 should now be predicted correctly.
  • Simplified code for adding text to item tooltips thanks to new API in WoW 2.0.3 — this should fix issues with the same info being added to a tooltip multiple times or sometimes being missing, as well as allow us to work with more third-party addons that show item tooltips.

Levelator 2.0

January 11th, 2007
  • Updated for compatibility with WoW Patch 2.0.3 and the Burning Crusade release.
  • Quests with special tags (Elite/Group, Raid, Dungeon, PvP) now show the first letter of the tag in addition to the level (e.g. “[60R]The Perfect Poison”, “[60D]Attunement to the Core”).
  • In the Burning Crusade, some outdoor group quests come with a suggested number of players; this is now shown in the title as well (e.g. “[69G3]Destroy Naberius!”, a level 69 quest for which three players are recommended).

FactionFriend 2.0.2

December 28th, 2006
  • Fixed an issue where the mouseover highlight on the reputation bar marker (for available turnins) would be extra-bright and not go away when it should. (It now glows the color of the bar instead, like the rested XP bar marker does.)
  • Updated data on several turnins to reflect reputation gain increases in WoW Patch 2.0. (Includes Runecloth turnins for the racial factions and some turnins for Timbermaw Hold and Cenarion Circle.)
  • Burning Crusade content: added turnins for The Aldor and The Scryers, and another turnin for The Consortium (Oshu’gun Crystal Fragments).

FactionFriend 2.0.1

December 20th, 2006
  • We now use new APIs from WoW 2.0 to track faction turnin items in your inventory and bank — this should fix cases where we’d mis-report the quantity you have of an item when opening and closing the bank.
  • WoW Patch 2.0.1 increased the reputation gain from some item turnins; FactionFriend’s estimation of them has been updated to match. (If you see any other cases where you’re gaining more reputation from a repeatable turnin than FactionFriend estimates, please let us know!)
  • Added another turnin for The Consortium faction (in the Burning Crusade beta): Zaxxis Insignia x 10 for 250 reputation.
  • Added a German localization (complete for pre-expansion content) by Alirion of Dun Morogh (EU).

Gemologist 2.0.3

  • Added preliminary data on Burning Crusade content (from the closed beta).
  • Added a German localization (complete for pre-expansion content) by Alirion of Dun Morogh (EU).

Hunter’s Helper 2.0.1

December 20th, 2006
  • Added preliminary info on Burning Crusade content (from the closed beta, thanks to petopia.brashendeavors.net):
    • The new abilities for some of the new pet types: Dragonhawks (Fire Breath) and Warp Stalkers (Warp).
    • Data on which of the new pet types can learn which existing abilities.
    • Our zone database (used by/hh find command can now search for beasts closest to your current location) covers all of the new 5-man instances and most of the new raid zones.
  • Also added info on new beasts and newly tameable beasts from WoW Patch 2.0.1:
    • The Serpent family is now tameable, and many serpents come with the Poison Spit ability.
    • Lightning Breath (Rank 1) finally exists in the game, thanks to the addition of a low-level Wind Serpent type outside the Wailing Caverns.
  • Corrected a few existing listings.
