• Now supports the Brazilian Portuguese localization of the WoW client thanks to data from pt.wowhead.com. (Only the client-specific strings needed for full functionality under Portuguese are translated; if you’d like to help provide a translation for FactionFriend’s own UI text, see the localization.lua file.)
• Removed the Coilfang Armaments turnin for Cenarion Expedition, as WoW Patch 4.3 removed the turnin quest. (The items still drop and are still white, so maybe this is a bug and the turnin will come back later?)
• Removed turnins from the old (before Patch 4.3) Darkmoon Faire as they are no longer available. You can get rid of your Evil Bat Eyes now.
• Fixed database entry for Oshu’gun Crystal Fragments so that those items are properly counted for potential reputation gains.
• Fixed an issue where certain kinds of turnins (including some from the old Darkmoon Faire) could be incorrectly counted as providing negative reputation.

If you have other types of cooking fire available, ZippyLighter can now use them instead of Basic Fire:

• Alternate fires include Lil’ Ragnaros, Little Wickerman, and Grim Campfire.
• If any of these is available, ZippyLighter will use it by default.
• Hold ALT while mousing over the cooking fire button to change which gets used.

In collaboration with my associates at Smokywood Pastures, I’m pleased to bring you five (count ‘em, five!) new gizmos and gadgets just in time for the end of this year’s feast:

• DiggerAid: Lets you spend more time digging and less time with the Archaeology UI.
• HoverTips: Makes chat links show their tooltips on mouseover instead of only when clicked, and adds new tooltips for some types of links
• ScrollMaker: Adds a button to the Enchanting window for making scrolls with one click.
• Experience Visualizer: Enhances the built-in XP bar.
• ZippyLighter: Adds a button to the Cooking window for quick access to fire.

NOTE: Levelator’s method of adding levels to quest titles now causes issues with the use-quest-item buttons in the objectives tracker. I’m currently investigating possible fixes.

I haven’t had the time to do everything with Linkerator that I’d like to, and it’s not fair to let it continue to sit in limbo. So, it’s officially on the discontinued list now; old versions are still available for download here.

There’s good news, though! “GhostfromTexas” has picked up the Linkerator code and is continuing development under the new name Linkepedia. You can find it at WoWInterface and Curse.

Fixed error on login introduced in 4.2.2. (I don’t know how I managed to end up with the entire contents of FactionFriend.lua duplicated — probably gnome sabotage or something– but it’s back to normal now.)
