  • Should fix a problem where you’d get an error, hang, or WoW crash when we couldn’t find data for something.

    Hey Gazmik

Still receiving the wierd ReagentCost/Auctioneer errors and occasional lockups when opening a crafting window.

Odd, it was working fine earlier. I tried running another AH scan and relogging and still freeze up and/or get the same errors I reported to you previously.

    Thanks

Any chance of getting this mod to hook with one of the auction scanners that takes up less space? KC Items comes to mind as it currently takes up the least space out of any of the similar addons, though even AuctionMatrix takes up less room than Auctioneer. I love the funcionality this offers, just don’t love all the memory Auctioneer forces me to lose!

Yes, I do plan on eventually making this work with other auction scanners… KC_Items or AuctionMatrix will probably be first. Many other things on the to-do list, though, so I can’t say exactly when.

For Flying Tiger Glasses, it is telling me 27s20c for total cost. The ingrediants are 6 light leather and 2 tigerseye. The true cost to make these is more around 5s-6s. Auctioneer is telling me 1s50c for tigerseye and 38c for light leather. I think what confuses it is the Requires: Arclight Spanner, which needs 6 Copper Bars (2s each). Which should only cost 12s to make… but total cost is listed at 21s. Maybe because it Requires: Blacksmith Hammer?

Anyway, my point is, Total Cost to make should only include the regeants used, not the items needed to make it, since those items aren’t consumed and once you have them, they last you forever.

Actually, it’s not counting the spanners and hammers and such… probably the reason for the discrepancy you’re seeing is that the current version of ReagentCost uses Auctioneer’s “Historical Median” figure for each reagent, which doesn’t always match the numbers shown in Auctioneer’s tooltips, and can be off by a bit if your Auctioneer database covers a long span of time. I’ve improved on this for the next release, so the prices should be a bit more accurate.

Great addon! WoW is locking up with an Auctioneer error though when I try to open my Cooking panel. Engineering, Enchanting and Mining tabs work just fine though, I would test some more but those are all my characters have for now. I’ve got Reagent Data 2.1.3 and Auctioneer 3.0.10, I can try to jot down the error if you think it’ll help, but it’s something about “find” and a nil value.
