- Includes an update to the PeriodicTable library:
- now includes most Cataclysm foods.
- removed some foods pets don’t eat.
- added some pre-Cataclysm foods which weren’t included before.
- Fixes an issue where we wouldn’t warn that the pet needs feeding immediately after taming.
- Known issue: we don’t yet have family-specific hungry sounds for the new pet families introduced with patch 4.0.3a (the Shattering) and Cataclysm. Please send email if there’s a sound your new pet makes that you’d like him to make when he’s hungry (and know the WoW-internal filename/path for it).

can u now click on the feed box next to the pet it auto throw the food it has in the box what best food for it. because before it wouldnt do that. the last time it was updated before 4.1

Clicking the pet happiness icon appears to still work for feeding as of this version, but you should note that FOM only provides this behavior for the default UI — any other addon which replaces the default player/pet frames will need to do its own thing to hook into FOM’s feeding functionality.

First i must say this addon is very nice one, simple clean and to the point ( ps probably not simple to write though)
having small problem feeding my crab , addon will not recognize Cataclysm foods for it like blood shrimp, murglesnout and some other sea foods. sorry to bother you, with this but as they are the foods found easily in first areas in Vashj’ir they are probably need to be in the database

Still do not have the option to feed my pets Cata fish… I have no other hunter/pet addons. One example is [Shaptooth] fish.. Is this something to be added still?

heya,
just a bit of a heads up on a bug i found. apparently when using the mend pet ability with the glyph of mend pet in a glyph slot FOM doesnt stop flashing the happiness icon next to the pet if the pet goes from content to happy. i dont know currently if this works the same for feeding the pet for me or not but i figured i’d let you know anyways 🙂

Since patch updated today, even though it shows what food will be fed to my pet when I click, it will not feed it and I need to do it manually…
