Disenchant Predictor 2.1.1

  • Refined disenchant tables for shards and crystals produced by high-level items; all should be correctly predicted now.
  • Updated the list of non-disenchantable items.
  • Uses a simpler, more reliable means of hooking item tooltips.
  • Added support for the Ace AddonLoader — when that addon is present, Disenchant Predictor will load in the background shortly after login (reducing initial load time).

I must be doing something wrong. I have been using a few of your addon’s recently and this bunch does not work. I think the mods you make are awesome and I have gone back to the previous ones and they work fine.

I am wondering do I have to have the Ace Addonloader for these to work now? I don’t have it and I am wondering if that is the problem.

Thank you for all your hard work.

No, the Ace AddonLoader is optional — without it, the 2.1.1 Fizzwidget addons will load normally at login.

However, you’re not the first to report this problem, which leaves me wondering if there might be some other popular addon that’s causing a conflict. Try disabling all other addons; if that fixes the problem, re-enable them a few at a time until it resurfaces, and then we’ll have a better idea where the conflict is.

Ok I disabled all my addons and it still did not work. I thought for sure it would. I tried it with only your addons running then I even disabled yours. I only had Disenchant Predictor 2.1.1 loaded. It did not work.

I went back to the previous version with all my addons loaded and they all work perfectly.

I am sorry I only tried it with the Disenchant Predictor 2.1.1 as I did not have time to reload the others I use.

And just so you know I use Gemologist, FactionFriend, and AdSpace as well. None of the newer versions worked when I installed them. So I am using the previous release for each and they work fine.

I hope this helps. If only to find out it is just me :-p

    In FrameXML.log is an error:

    Error loading InterfaceAddOnsGFW_DisenchantPredictorGFWTooltip.lua

but there is no file “GFWTooltip.lua”

is the “GFWTooltip.lua” not needed ? and you just forget to delete it from .toc ?
