Disenchant Predictor 1600.2

  • Replaced LootLink dependency with EnhTooltip (version 1.0.4), which does everything one needs for modifying item tooltips in one convenient bundle. It’s now included in the download, too. Many thanks to the Auctioneer/Enchantrix people!

I tried this and am not getting any additional information about items when moused over… Unless I’m missing the jist of this addon and it only shows information about disenchanted items (which it does)

  2. Gazmik Fizzwidget Says:

Yes, this mod only adds info to tooltips for enchanting reagents (shards, essences, and dust) indicating what kinds of items you’d need to disenchant to get them. There are already several mods that do the reverse (showing on the tooltip for a green item what it’s likely to disenchant into)… Enchantrix being probably the most popular.

First let me say that once this is working as intended this will be a wonderful add on, thank you for taking the time to make it.

    Now the problems.

Problem A: I am getting goofy results and they vary from recipe to recipe. For example Fiery Weapon uses Small Radiant Shards. The add on says they come from level 51 to 60 items. BUT Small Radiant Shards for Demonslaying seem to come from items level 16 to 20. Dream Dust is showing items 1 to 20 for Demonslaying and 46 to 50 on Enchant Boots – Greater Stamina. Also I get no response for the Small Brilliant Shard used in Enchant Chest – Major Health, but I get level 26 to 30 shown for Small Brilliant Shard for Enchant Chest – Major Mana.

Problem B: mousing over a reagent in my inventory doesn’t pop up any tip saying where they come from.

Problem C: I get “Error: Usage GetCraftReagentItemLink(index, reagentIndex” when I look at certain recipe’s reagents lists; such as Enchant Gloves: Greater Agility.

  4. Gazmik Fizzwidget Says:

That’s… rather strange, Baelin. Disenchant Predictor never calls GetCraftReagentItemLink itself… and it modifies things at the tooltip level, so it’s odd to see differences based on which particular place/icon/etc you’re getting a tooltip from.

If you turn off all mods except EnhTooltip and Disenchant Predictor, do you still see these problems?

  5. Baelin Says:

hmmm, it seems this add on doesn’t like one of my others. when I run it alone it seems fine. Now for the arduous task of finding which one it doesn’t like and then deciding which is more important. Lets hope it is something I don’t really use anymore and just forgot to ditch.

  6. Baelin Says:

OK, found which one it doesn’t like and its a bad one to not like…

Seems SortEnchant doesn’t play nice with this one. That’s a major shame too. I’ll keep checking here and hopefully some day the two will learn to like each other, but until then the Sorting feature is more important.

    Keep up the good work!
