Experience Visualizer 5.0

  • Updated TOC to indicate compatibility with WoW Patch 5.0.
  • If the UI is modified such that Blizzard’s XP bar is on the top of the screen, the next-level-ready alert will appear below it instead of above (and off the screen).

The next-level-ready alert isn’t attaching itself to the XP bar at all right now. It’s pointing to where the default XP bar would be, if I had left it there. I dont know if it matters, but I have the XP bar almost at the top of the screen, with only the top bar from Titan Panel and the rep bar above it.

What addon are you using to move the XP bar? I’ll look into it.

  3. Whytte Dragun Says:

    CT Barmod or Bottombar.

I wasn’t level often enough before to notice this, but once I get high enough to trigger the nlr alert, it keeps popping up until I actually level. It pops back up every time I do anything even if I hit the X. If I just ignore it, it makes the sound every time I do anything.

I have the same problem as Whytte Dragun. After my XP enters the “turn in your quests to level” notification range, the notification comes up every time I get XP, even if I have already dismissed the notification, and even if it is already on screen.

I have the alert popping up over and over again when I get enough quests done for leveling up, I can live with it while questing but in dungeons it is very annoying because it keeps popping up and covering some of my actionbars preventing me from using items and skills. If I click the red X the alert pops back when I kill something or return a quest. I am using the default Blizz expbar and actionbars (hope that helps in finding out what the problem is).

    P.S. I Love your addons.

Sorry for the slow reply; it’s been a hectic month here at the workshop, nevermind what with misty continents and Hellscream on the warpath again.

CT_BottomBar doesn’t move the default XP bar; it hides it and creates its own movable facsimile. My general policy is not to hook into other mods because maintaining support is a nightmare; I’d recommend looking into a different XP bar mod that actually moves the Blizzard bar if you want compatibility with Experience Visualizer. (DejaXPBar seems to work.)
