as of this date with the newest security updates from Trend Micro (Trend Micro Internet Security Pro 2008) the dongle.lua is now recognized as a virus…
might just be a bug from trend micro.. but it’s still rather annoying
oh I know.. lua files are perfectly safe.. it’s just annoying having to turn the av off when loggin in (or swappin toons) and then on again without the dongle.lua being quarentined every time it loads the addons -.-

any ideas as to how to solve it?

That would be a failure of your antivirus software — there’s no way a Lua file run only within WoW’s addon sandbox can harm your computer.
