- Updated TOC to indicate compatibility with WoW Patch 2.4.
- Reputation levels are now color-coded using a scheme similar to that on Blizzard’s Armory site. (For example, the four levels of Friendly through Exalted are no longer all displayed as the same shade of green.) This change also applies to the default UI’s Reputation panel and other UIs that use its color table.
- Fixed an issue where Argent Dawn and Zandalar tokens were likely to show in the reputation bar tooltip as “Unknown Item #”.
- Configuration controls are moved into a pane in the new Interface Options panel provided by the default UI.
- Updated German localization by “Zara”.

Dear Mr. Fizzwidget, is Gazmik alright? … OK, Mr Fizzwidget.
I am a loyal customer and couldn’t be of near as much use to the empire were it not for your tools. Particularly the Faction Friend, with so many factions fightin’ n feuding it’s hard to keep up with who wants what, without your fine product it would be nigh’on impossible.
Anyways, if you could see about adding a feature to remember which cities I have supplied with cloth for bandages, it would be very useful.
Thank you, your ever faithful customer – Run

Dear Gazmik,
I’m an enthusiastic user of of FactionFriend, but I have noticed a small mistake in its calculations. When I turn in [Fertile Spores], I need only 6 to get 750 reputation points with Sporeggar, not 10 like your program seems to think.
Greetings,
Meldayen

Good afternoon sir. fisrt off let me compliment you on the efforts you have put into your site it is very awesome. i run several of your addons and have no complaints, but i have one request. is there anyway to get faction friend to work with Better EXP 2.41? here is a link http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/11823/
i really like this prog as it is the only thing i have found that lets you resize your exp and rep bar ooooh theres an idea that would fix everything maybe you could just find away fo faction friend to resize the bars itself that would be fantastic either way any effort you could give this would be great and once again thank you for the time you have put into these addons already

Runstadrey:
That’s an interesting idea, but I’m not sure it quite fits in with FactionFriend’s design. (In any case, I doubt I’d be able to add it anytime soon… I’ve very little time for addon work of late, and most of it is consumed by fixing bugs.) Might I suggest bringing up your idea at the WoWInterface forums? You might find enthusiastic help there.
Meldayen:
Thanks! This is fixed for the next release.
Lykor:
The philosophy behind my products is all about picking a single function and doing it well. With an addon which provides a wide variety of features, you’ll likely not choose to use them all, but they’ll still consume memory and CPU time, cutting into WoW’s performance. An addon closely focused on a single feature stays lightweight.
For that reason, re-positioning and re-styling the XP/reputation bars or other parts of the default UI probably aren’t going to become part of FactionFriend, at least not anytime soon.
For the same reason (among others), I can’t make FactionFriend automatically hook into every single replacement-XP-bar addon out there. Besides, wouldn’t it be more appropriate if an addon which re-styles the reputation bar presented the extra info from FactionFriend in a way that fit the new style? FactionFriend provides an API that other addon developers can use to incorporate its features wherever they might like to put them in their own UIs: just point the developer of your favorite XP bar addon at the readme.txt file included in the download.
Thundertom:
Hey! I used to work in Gadgetzan! I guess I can take that as a compliment…

A bug in which Thorium Brotherhood Rep Turnins does not take into account how much coal I have (or have not got) It only seems to be looking at the Icanadoor Scales and Leather Autoturnin has the same problem so it may be a Blizzard problem Turnin requires 2 scale 1 coal and 10 Havy leather the calc only seems to be lloking for 2 scale and 10 Havy leather

Hinomostic:
That’s intended — Coal is sold by the same vendor you turn the quest in to, and it’s cheap (at a couple silver each, you can buy all the coal needed to get from Neutral to Friendly for less than 2 gold, which should be pocket change for anyone grinding TB rep). Since therefore you effectively have infinite Coal, FactionFriend tracks only the more scarce items needed for that turnin: the Incendosaur Scale and leather/herbs/ore.
