Linkerator 3.0

  • Updated for compatibility with WoW Patch 3.0 and Wrath of the Lich King.
  • It’s now possible to retrieve item links given a known item ID (using /link <number>) even if the item is not in your client’s local cache. Items unknown by the server will return no results.
  • Includes preliminary support for spell links — they’re now returned in /link search results but not for as-you-type linking. More spell, talent, quest, and achievement link features will follow in future releases.

Currently not working properly. It bugs out and sometimes you cant finish typing a line that has had a Linkerator typed link put in, need to delete the typed link first.

I get the following error whenever I type ‘[‘ followed by any character:

Linkerator.lua:1218: attempt to index global ‘FLT_EnchantLinks’ (a nil value)

Is an update in the works?

Currently horribly bugged for me. Whenever I attempt to type in a link, i drop to 4 or 5 fps, which I can only assume is attributed to a huge increase in resource allocation, and it will not let me complete and send a sentance unless I delete the attempted link. Once I delete the attempted link my FPS returns to normal and everything is as it was. I can provide the error log if you wish. You can email me if you’d like it.
